Superfine Merino Fingering

Composition

Made from 100% Australian superfine Merino, 17m is as fine a grade of Merino as you will find anywhere.

Construction

A nimble 2-ply fingering giving 1,680 yards per pound. Ideal for light or delicate garments.

Properties

This yarn has the luxurious suppleness of cashmere, but with more durability. Due to the fine micron diameter, the wool has a greater surface area and therefore dye uptake is greater. Less dye is required to achieve the same depth of colour as coarser microns, and dry times will be slightly longer as there are more individual fibres absorbing water and dye.
